Re: Why I think Trump won

For the first time ever, since attaining voting age, I refrained from voting for President. I could not in good conscience vote for either of these broken candidates. And yes, Hilary is every bit as broken as Trump. Not since Bob Dole have I seen a candidate more convinced that they "deserve" to be ...

Re: Pokemon Go

I'm still playing. Level 31 now. Level curve is at 500k per level at this point. I have completed the North American Pokedex which is 142 Pokémon. Only the 5 Legendary, Ditto and the 3 remaining region locked Pokémon are left. I am hearing rumors of the introduction of new Pokémon at the end of the ...

Re: Pokemon Go

3 steps was a rather huge area when I started playing. I live on a peninsula that is 12 sq miles. 3 steps was the entire peninsula plus some.

I think the current range is somewhere around 70 meter radius.

Re: Coup Attempt in Turkey

It could have been staged to wipe out some political rivals (and their military supporters) under the guise of defending against a coup.

Re: Is the two party system disintegrating?

No you won't, because unless the Democrats and Republicans move MUCH farther left and right respectively necessitating the formation of a moderate party, only the Democrats or Republican candidates will win (depending on which party fractures).

Re: Pokemon Go

Speculation is that constantly sending and receiving update tracking information about the location and distance of the Pokémon was causing a LOT of the server related lag problems. That necessitated the removal of the detailed tracking.

Re: Pokemon Go

Trading is going to be in the game......it is only a question of when. Currently there are 4 regional Pokémon that are specific to different parts of the world. So unless you travel, you will not get them without some form of trading system. I imagine two forms......one would be an auction house whe...

Re: Pokemon Go

Level 24 now. The leveling curve seems to be adding 25k each level now. It was 25k to get from 19 to 20, 50k from 20 to 21, 75k from 21 to 22, 100k from 22 to 23 and 125k from 23 to 24 and now 150k to get to 25. I have so far not spent any of my own money on the game. I have been getting 100 Coins a...

Re: Is the two party system disintegrating?

Well if you want to stand a chance of "winning", then the two party system is alive and well. It's not like we have a parliamentary system where you can still win by "losing."

Re: Pokemon Go

Level 22, Team Mystic here. My impression is that the game is sort of fun......if you are OCD and want to spend a lot of time trying to catch Pokémon. The gym battles are sort of stupid as the player has an immense advantage over the AI which the Pokémon placed in the gym by an opposing team use. It...

Re: Election 2016

Sanders (Independent) is technically a 3rd party candidate. Just like Ron Paul (Libertarian) was, though he ran as a Republican.

Re: Election 2016

Unfortutely, you will likely see Hilary win on the sole issue of being the first woman president. This is why I wanted a viable conservative female to run, but that did not happen.

Of all those on the list, I would rather see Sanders because Trump would be an embarrassment to the office.

Re: LOL

My problem with Eve was basically that, according to my friend to has played Eve since it came out, that the tutorial BLOWS. Everything it has you learn is not how you actually do things in the game. The equivalent example he told me is that if you made a similar tutorial in a fantasy based MMO, it ...
