Re: So Edwards throws in the towel...

There is no such thing as an educated voting population. The vast majority do not vote on issues nor research the candidates individually. This problem is illustrated quite clearly in this topic.

Re: Bill Clinton Foundation revenue source exposed

This one is the most current (2006). http://www.clintonfoundation.org/pdf/irs-990-2006-clinton-foundation.pdf Here is Clinton's financial disclosure for 2006: http://www.opensecrets.org/pfds/pfd2006/N00000019_2006.pdf I've done as much digging as I can and I can't find any direct payments from the f...

Re: Bill Clinton Foundation revenue source exposed

The question again is, how much of that went into Clinton's pocket? Like I said, if you believe it is a number with less than two commas in it, you're fooling yourself. Clinton doesn't draw any salary from the Clinton Foundation. I've offered my opinion and I think he took significant dollars from ...

Re: The economy

You're right Dd. If you lose your house because you bought to much or you've spent all your equity, you hand the keys back to the bank and go rent a place. If a bank loses enough money, the Feds will shut them down and lots of people lose their jobs. Banks going under is much more damaging to the ec...

Re: Bill Clinton Foundation revenue source exposed

Um, actually, he doesn't get money from the Foundation - it's a nonprofit. He gets his money from doing about one speech a day at Presidential rates. He pulls about $10m a year just from speeches. WTF are you smoking? Just because it is a non-profit does not mean he doesn't get a salary? Do you thi...

And racist to think that only minorities can fix race inequalities. The democratic party is so filled with hypocricies, it's pitiful.

Re: Superbowl

The Pats aren't any less of a team because they lost the SB. They still had the best regular season that any team has ever had. More points, more wins, etc. Congrats to the Giants for playing better than the Pats in the biggest game in their franchise history. Here's the question. Does anyone think ...

And he can be the frontrunner's VP, if the party decides to go that route again. Maybe not, after what Kerry said about him after 2004's fiasco.

Re: The economy

I heard that SBA loans were tightened up and harder to get too. Is that true from your experience Fingle? No way. SBA lenders are falling over themselves to put loans on the books right now. SBA loans typically have higher floating interest margins than conventional commercial loans, which is also ...

McCain has said and done some dumb things in the past, just like all politicians. If you are looking for someone who has a rediculous amount of experience not only in politics but in life, you should vote for McCain. War veteran, long time politician and decent individual. Sure he's a vote for the s...

Re: Attention Whore: Klast Edition

If I were you, Klast, I'd cut the diet soda out as well. The synthetic sugars, in some cases, are the sole cause of indegestion and acid reflux. I'd stick to the coffee and water.

Keep up the self-discipline. Grats!
