Re: Da Corona

For reference, in the US Civil War we lost 520 people per day for 4 years accounting for 750,000 dead, 2.4% of the entire US population and never shut down a thing.

Re: Da Corona

Well, now it looks like I won't be back to work until May. This is crazy. I am all for helping to stem the tide of the virus, but we fought world wars without shutting down the economy. We are fast approaching the "cure" being worse than the disease. If millions of people lose jobs, homes, businesse...

Re: Member when....

Biden clearly has signs of Sundowning . This is why late in the day he gets irritable and starts telling people to go vote for someone else, insults them, or tries to instigate fights with them, which he has now done twice. He has told people to support his run for the Senate, go vote for the other ...

Re: Member when....

Yeah it was seeming to be a lock until China unleashed hell on the world. Now everything is up in the air. Biden is clearly suffering from early stage dementia, I can't see him beating Trump.

….there was discussion of the Tea Party fracturing the Republican party? It seems the Socialist wing of the Democrats is bound and determined to do the same.

Re: I recovered my character!

Made the old run from Qeynos to Freeport. Got lost in Rivervale. Hit the EC tunnel. Fun to try to remember everything. I am totally lost with the UI and can't remember a damn thing my character can do.

Re: Happy 20 Year Anniversary

I think it might be time to reinstall EQ and make a memorial run from Qeynos to Freeport one last time.

Re: Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen

Yeah the layoffs were that, but a lot of people left recently due to Activision's heavy handed lead. I watched an interesting video about how game companies mature and stop being game companies. I think it stemmed originally from an interview with Steve Jobs where he described how the older a compan...

Re: Income Inequality

Most people that get minimum wage jobs are living with their parents, or at least that's how it was when I was young. I started working farm jobs that paid well below minimum wage. I picked beans for $3 a bushel. My first non-farm job was at Sears working in Receiving for minimum wage. I didn't know...

Re: Trump is now president.

I'm sure that was part of it since she built up quite the repertoire of interviews claiming hardship growing up because of her mixed heritage, so I think that left her open to ridicule unless she could prove it. This just made it worse.

Re: Trump is now president.

That's why Elizabeth Warren was so desperate to prove her Native American heritage. She needed something to use.

Were you in other pre-alpha stages Burz? If you are allowed to discuss it, what did you think so far?
